Artifact 2.A.

As a classroom English teacher I have the opportunity to design developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that apply technology-enhanced instructional strategies to support the diverse needs of learners. The Moodle site created for my Teen Issues in Literature class is an example of how I create technology enhanced environments for my students, meeting standards A.2 and C.1. The information in the site helps keep students organized and knowing what to expect, incorporates additional technology resources, and, thorough the discussion forums, gives students a place to discuss material in order to reach a higher level of understanding, meeting standard D.1 as I identified and evaluated options for management of technology resources within the context of learning activities.
