This lesson plan is evidence of how I met Standard 3.A., facilitating a technology-enhanced research project that addresses both English and history content standards and technology standards. Students shared research and discussed findings, demonstrating the higher order thinking skills, synthesis and evaluation, necessary for Standard 3.C. The Google Docs technology supported creativity in design (3.C.) Standard 3.B was also met because the technology supported group and individual learner-centered strategies, allowing students to work together and at home, with many learning styles addressed. This lesson was shared with colleagues within the school, across the district, and across the state at the Alaska Society for Technology in Education conference in 2011, meeting Standard 3.E.
